New Year Celebrating Luncheon Held in GUFL for International Faculties

December 21th 2017, a New Year celebrating luncheon was held in GUFL for international faculties to pay appreciation to all of them in the university cafeteria. Vice-Presidents Prof. Song Yafei and Prof. Wu Guiming, Deputy Director of International Exchange & Cooperation Office Mr. Zhang Yunzhi, and other directors of related schools attended the luncheon. 

At the beginning, Vice President Prof. Wu Guiming expressed his gratitude to all international faculties on behalf of GUFL and affirmed their contribution to the university in the past year. The luncheon provided pastries and local specialties, and the international faculties were satisfied with the food. The luncheon was arranged at the end of the semester and before New Year, in order to allow all international faculties to summarize the gains and problems they had encountered at work. Prof. Wu Guiming communicated with them on various aspects of life and work, and learned more about their feelings and needs about the work and life in GUFL. Regarding the needs of international faculties, he said that the university will continue to improve the conditions of work and living and strive to create a better environment for everyone, and he hoped that everyone can make joint efforts to focus on teaching and academic research. 

Afterwards, the international faculties also expressed their deep gratitude to the university leaders and teachers for their care and assistance in 2017. They also thanked the university for arranging such a delicious luncheon and letting them feel like home in China.

On behalf of GUFL, Prof. Wu Guiming presented a New Year's gift with Chinese characteristics to every international faculty. The luncheon was full of joy and cheers. Finally, all participants took a group photo in memory of this special moment. The luncheon ended in the laughter of everyone.
