GUFL has over 50 student clubs or associations, such as Chinese Language Study Club, Student Reporter Society, Kongfu Club and Dance Club，etc. Every year students are actively involved in activities like campus sports-meeting, evening party, campus cultural festivals, and Chinese drama festival. They have clear themes and diverse styles with objectives of developing students’ comprehensive ability. In addition, activities such as Southeast Asian Week, English Drama Festival, Thailand Songkran Festival and Japanese Obon Festival have been included into the university calendar to cultivate campus culture diversity. Priority is given to the kinds of associations for scientific research, cultural study, art learning and academic activities, which have become very important part of learning for required credits for graduation. Such extra-curricular activities can serve as a platform for promoting students’ communication and motivating students’ interest of learning, enriching campus life, cultivating their creativity and entrepreneurship.
